Ricky is a self taught hip hop dancer. He thinks of himself as a late bloomer as Ricky did not even consider dance as a career until the beginning of his freshmen year at the University of Illinois.
He was accepted in to the dance program his sophmore year and has grown as an artist ever since. In the dance department he has been trained in styles such as ballet, modern, and african. While obtaining his BFA, he had the pleasure to perform in works by Linda Lehovec, Kemal Nance, Earl Mosely, and Cynthia Oliver.
Ricky, who is obsessed with performing on stage, is starting to get his feet wet in choreography. His first choreographic piece "BE" was shown for his Senior Thesis Concert at the University of Illinois. Rickys' vision is to continue his journey as a professional dancer in California. He is now a current client for Go2TalentAgency which is based in Los Angeles.
